- What makes it different from other sci-fi universes?
- MZ is a dark universe in the near and distant future. It is grounded in reality with copious amounts of sci-fi elements. The scale is colossal, bigger than established sci-fi worlds. It pushes the envelope with an extraordinary vision of the future.
- Is it all gloom and doom?
- It’s not only about warfare. For example joyful moments, friendship, heroism or romance occurs as well.
- Why are you making this?
- Therein lays the crux. We enjoy a multitude of popular fantasy and sci-fi worlds. Nonetheless, they do not possess a plethora of factors that we deem essential.
- What about superheroes?
- Superheroes are in vogue. They offer theme park-esque entertainment. Their abilities tend to be inexplicable and they wear silly spandex costumes. That’s not what we’re aiming for.
- Are there aliens in MZ?
- Aye, a few powerful alien species inhabit known space. The mainstay are human factions.
- What are the human factions?
- Several human factions exist such as Earthlings.
- Who are the main characters?
- People are caught up in events beyond their comprehension. Brand new heroes and villains will rise to the occasion.
- Is magic possible?
- Nay, there are no magical abilities nor fairies or wizards.
- What technological level are the factions?
- The main factions are more advanced and grandiose than well-known sci-fi factions.
- Why do you call this a universe?
- A primary goal is to craft a full-fledged sci-fi universe. It will gradually expand over time.
- Why not let someone else do this?
- We waited for 30 years, alas nobody made it. Thus we are committed to realize our bold vision.
- When can we read the novel?
- We don’t have a release date yet. Announcements are due when it’s ready. Fingers crossed, in 2022.
- What about the manga?
- A manga will be available after the novel is published.
- Why should I care about MZ?
- If you fancy a new, epic science fiction universe then this should pique your interest.
